While remaining super lightweight at just 0.67kg, the Gitzo GM4562 Series 4, 6-Section Carbon Monopod supports a high payload and reaches up to 154 cm tall.
The 6 section monopod was developed for sports photographers who requires a solid support for long lenses and yet is compact and easy to carry anywhere. The Series 4 (top leg diameter 37.0mm) GM4562 replaces the Series 5 GM5561T.
The slimmer top tube to easier gripping and lighter weight, while ensuring rigidity with the stiff Carbon eXact tubes and the large G-lock Ultra leg locks. The new, 50mm big foot achieves solid footing and maximum stability on any surface, and its integrated ball provides smooth movement, making it easier to follow moving subjects. This foot can be removed and replaced by optional feet and spikes. The clip incorporated in the wrist strap is a smart carrying solution that allows you to hang your monopod on belts or pockets.
The GM4562 reaches up to 154 cm, securely supporting an impressive amount of equipment. It weighs just 670 grams, folds down to 44 cm and is easy to pack in/on a backpack for hiking. This model’s 6-section structure is designed to enhance its overall balance and includes a handy, reversible 1/4” and 3/8” mounting thread for attaching various types of cameras, lenses and heads.
The GM4562 base features an innovative 50 mm rubber foot with a pivoting ball-joint for smooth movement that is perfect for capturing moving subjects. This provides stable and solid footing with high stability on any surface and can be removed when necessary in order to add optional feet or metal spikes. The carbon system also features Gitzo’s signature ergonomic textured hand grip and a removable wrist strap for increased security, allowing the monopod to hang from belts or pockets.
